Codio Goes Beta

We're happy to announce that we're upgrading Codio from Alpha to Beta status. In short, this means that we've worked out most of the bugs and we're confident that the current version of the site is stable and useful.

If you still haven't signed up, we've added a tour page and demo account so you can play around with the site before signing up. Signup will continue to be free during our beta period.

In addition to a bunch of minor fixes, some of the major features we've added are:

1. Language support for Java, PHP, Python, Ruby, and JavaScript.

2. Scores are weighted by the difficulty of the test.

3. Tests are adaptive, so if you do well you'll get harder questions.

And to whet your appetites for what's coming, here are some commonly requested features that we're currently working on:

1. Uploading custom questions.

2. An api service or white-labeling for third parties.

3. Badges for job applicants.

If there's some feature you think we're missing please let us know! We're also happy to add support for whatever language or testing environment you need.

Thanks to all our alpha testers for your suggestions and feedback!
